Lindsey's Craft Studio is open and ready to welcome you! Step inside our gorgeous classroom space, and learn some simple techniques for beginners to hand-sew. No machines necessary!
Please bring one clothing item that you are seeking advice or assistance with and I will do my best to work it into our curriculum. Your question may help or inspire others during class! Great examples include: something that ripped along a seam that you have been putting off finding the time to mend, something that lost a button, something you thrifted that's a teeny bit too big, straps too long on a sundress, etc... think small fixes, but maybe you don't know where to begin.
This event is for those 21+ and is intended for adults. Class runtime is approximately 2 hours, but may run slightly longer depending on class size.
Included with your ticket:
- Supplies and instruction to learn simple running stitch, backstitch, ladder stitch, and hemming, as well as how to attach buttons. Zippers, pockets and any machine work will occur in another class coming soon.
- Information on how to use these techniques to shorten sleeves or pant legs, close rips in a seam, slightly shrink the size of a garment, and perhaps a few more if time allows.
- Lots of laughs, smiles, and creative encouragement, in a setting that's perfect for date night, friends' night out, girls night, and plenty of selfies!
Please feel free to bring snacks and beverages with you to the studio, to enjoy while you create! BYOB friendly.
